our story
Meli was created by a woman in search of the perfect beer.
She was gluten-intolerant and knew that 'gluten-free' meant 'gross' in the world of beer. She was going organic and searching for cleaner options made with ethically-sourced ingredients. She appreciated design and didn't feel proud holding most beers in her hands.

There were so many moments in life that called for a beer, but the one she wanted didn't exist. So she made it herself.

In partnership with food scientists from MIT, she spent three years refining the recipe, until she created Meli Quinoa Beer. A thoughtful option built to balance pleasure and wellbeing.

WHAT DOES QUINOA BEER TASTE LIKE?
Refreshingly crisp, with a hint of sweetness. Think of it like a blonde ale with a mild fruity flavor and aroma. Meli is great on its own but also can be enjoyed with a meal, used in recipes, or mixed into cocktails.
WHERE IS IT MADE?
Meli is produced in partnership with a locally-owned microbrewery in New Hampshire. Our founders are present on the days when Meli is brewed and canned to ensure that each batch is made perfectly and meets our standards for excellence.
HOW DO YOU SOURCE YOUR INGREDIENTS?
Our suppliers are our partners, and we get to know them well before buying from them. We work with ethical businesses that can trace their ingredients back to the farmers who grew them.
